Grocery Store
Educated Consumers Save More!

The Great Recession - 10 million Americans unemployed, forecloses, bankruptcy, and bailouts have been on the consumers’ minds for the past three years. I see numerous retailers attempting to gain their piece of the market share pie with success based upon quarterly results. Quarterly results are a great measurement to success, but who is winning at the end of the day, the consumer or the retailer

Christmas is hurling toward us and budgets are about to be smashed. As the world creeps out of recession, the retail market is pushing the buyer to spend more money, RIGHT NOW. Here are tips to stay within your budget without giving up gift giving this Christmas.

#1 Set your limits early. Many people wait too long to set their Christmas budgets. By the time the budgets are in place, there is no time to save. The earlier you start putting money aside for the gift budget, the easier sticking to that budget will be

The Dollar Store - My New Best Friend

August 17th 2009 19:54
When money is tight, there is no better friend than the dollar store in your area. No better store was ever created for those supplies you use around the home and break the bank. Here is the break down of my last visit.

Window Washing Wipes - $1.00

According to the box, the Shark Vacuum never loses suction. Until the day I saw this product, I thought the Dyson Vacuum was the only vacuum to make that claim. After a terrible experience ordering the Dyson online, I settled for the Shark Vacuum. The price difference between the Shark and the Dyson is a whopping $300, but is the cheaper Shark really going to work as well as the Dyson.

Dyson Animal - Pre Review

June 3rd 2009 02:23
I have ordered the Dyson Animal vacuum. I was so very tired of trying to unclog my current vacuum every day that I just went for the gold plated, best of the best Dyson. Got a great price at $499 with all the bells, whistles, things and stuff.

The vacuum is supposed to arrive on the 10th of June so I am eagerly anticipating its arrival. I can only hope that was a long term goal and want to be surprised before that time

I have tried the named brand flea and tick prevention and the over the counter brands. To date, I have saved $40.00 a month per dog by going with an over the counter flea and tick drop.

When it comes to the PS3 there is a rare game or two that actually meets the expectations of the player. Even Sony is upset with the PS3 sales and game sales, but Shaun White hit the nail on the head with his snowboarding bonanza of a game.

Anyone who plays a lot of games from this genre will notice the similarity between the Shaun White snowboarding game and Skate 2. But, that is not a bad thing. Some of the same fingerings can be used between the two games making game play easier if you have Skate 2 experience

Guitar Hero World Tour for xBOX 360

March 19th 2009 02:23
There is very little I can say about the Guitar Hero set for xBox 360 that is good. The guitar was the best part and that was not great! As a matter of fact, the guitar and the microphone are not the part of the Guitar Hero Set for xBox 360 that we need to be talking about. It is the DRUMS, my friends. The drums.

The Drum Set for the Guitar Hero World Tour Set, xBox 360, SUCKS! There is no better way to put this. After returning three sets to the store and contacting the manufacturer, I believe we were not alone in this feeling

When my daughter suddenly started scratching in the middle of the night we were appalled to find her covered in blood the next morning. After a diagnosis of severe excema, we needed a method of covering the wounds so she could not scratch the wounds throughout the night when she was asleep. The Johnson and Johnson Advanced Care Adhesive Pads saved the day and two years later we are still using these products every day.

The pads are placed over the wound and cover the wound completely. Within minutes the wound bubbles under the Johnson and Johnson Advanced Care Adhesive Pads and the healing begins. After three days, the Johnson and Johnson Advanced Care Adhesive Pads are removed and the wound is healed. These things are amazing
