Over the Counter Flea and Tick Drops

May 31st 2009 23:42
I have tried the named brand flea and tick prevention and the over the counter brands. To date, I have saved $40.00 a month per dog by going with an over the counter flea and tick drop.

Living in a Tick Zone

I live near the woods and that means I am living in tick central. Recently I had a dog stay over that was not treated for fleas and ticks. Within one day, the dog was covered and I was shopping for tick spray, collars and bath. My dogs, both treated with $6.99 over the counter flea and tick drops did not have a tick on them.

I am a firm believer in treating my pets like my children and when I can find a cheaper brand cold medication that works for my kids I use it. The same goes for my dogs. I save $960.00 a year by going with the over the counter flea and tick drops.
