Would You Pay For Silence?

I had an interesting idea last week. It came to me when Mr. Life Story uttered one of the phrases I can't stand. "Why is it so quiet in here?" I loath those words. They make me cringe.
Personally, I love silence. In this busy day and age it’s hard to find complete silence with phones ringing, cars honking, dogs barking, stupid people talking, etc. It used to be you could take a vacation out of town to someplace quiet, but now everyone is so attached to their Blackberry’s or what have you, and the rapid pace of technology, that it’s difficult to even relax.
My idea is simple. Sell silence. Open a business where people can rent a completely sound proof room by the hour to just sit and think. Kick back on a couch without the kids or email. Stare out the window at the world without any distractions. Relax in complete silence without someone saying “Why is it so quiet in here?” No time for a vacation? Stop by on your lunch break for some relaxation time.
Maybe this has already been done, or maybe in a different way than I envision it. Either way, would you pay for silence?

Just as I would never have dreamed of paying for drinking water when I was a kid, so I wouldn't dream of paying for silence..but I'll bet that's coming.
Ash is right--jump on the ground floor of that.
